At the Lake
I was inspired when I saw a couple sitting on a bench looking over the lake in the late afternoon. I hope my viewers can see the poignancy and drama of this scene. The sky was a rainbow of colors, and it was reflected in the water. I felt I wanted to capture that on canvas. I used oils for their creamy texture and my new impasto technique for depth and drama.
